Commuters
In New York City the most efficent form of transporation is biking. The amount of people who commute this way is staggering, and the bikes and clothes they are fashioned in is even more interesting. Setting up on the Manhattan side exit of the bridge, this project tries to capture each individual in their brief moment of passing, freezing them in frame. More recently in the summer of ‘24, the city has installed a small monolith that keeps track of the daily and total count of bikers coming across the bridge. Each day it roughly averages around six thousand bikers, and more recently the total count has exceeded a million.
